Preview and auctions of China Guardian HK Spring Auctions 2019 will be held at the JW Marriott Hotel (HK) from March 28 to 31. The collectors will be shown Chinese paintings and calligraphy, Asian 20th century and contemporary art, ceramics and works of art, jewellery, watches and luxury goods from all over the world.

Since the auction is nearly a month away, here China Guardian HK is posting a small number of our important lots for you to take the lead.
Chinese paintings and calligraphy
The Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy Department has prepared three sessions for the collectors, including Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia, Modern Chinese Calligraphy and Painting, and Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, with 500 items from Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chang'an and Lingnan painting schools. Selected items for this auction include Pine Trees by Zhang Daqian, Wu Hufan and other artists from the collections of Tang Erhe family, Mountain Landscapes by Huang Binhong from the collections of Tang Tianru, Cinnabar Orchid by Shi Lu from Chang'an painting school, which is rare due to its creation by cinnabar, and other works by Zhang Daqian, Qi Baishi, Wu Hufan, Huang Binhong and Wu Guanzhong. A feast of eye awaits you.

Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art
Two sessions --- Abstractionism and Chinese Artists in America are planed elaborately for all collectors. The former brings together 10 important contemporary artists who have excelled in abstractionism since the 20th century. The latter, led by the works of Zhu Yuanzhi and Zhao Chunxiang, focuses on works of 10 Chinese artists who are based in the United States, presenting a brilliant and precious collection of art centered on New York.
