Being the concluding event of China Guardian in 2011, the 28th China Guardian Quarterly Auction will present collectors with 3900 plus choice goods and excellent lots. The preview will be held from December 14th to 16th, and the auction from December 17th to 19th.

In this Quarterly Auction, China Guardian will, for the first time, launch the Japanese Gold and Silver Pots Auction Session, showcasing 86 pieces of classic Japanese gold and silver pots from the Meiji Era to the Showa Era, all purely handmade by pot-making masters such as ZOUROKU,NNAKAFAWA KIYOSIEKI,KOUNANN ISIGURO,SHOKOD,SIZUKA KITAMURA.
Meanwhile, the “Vintage Flavor and Aged Aroma: Classic National Drink Moutai” Auction Session will be reintroduced, displaying 92 groups of vintage Moutai produced in virtually all periods from 1950s to 1990s, ranging from Five-Star Kweichow Moutai, Feitian Kweichou Moutai, all the way to Sunflower Kweichou Moutai. Above all, the well-preserved “1958 Five-Star Kweichow Moutai” will also strike a pose on the stage.
There will be eight auction sessions on Chinese painting and calligraphy. Among them, the “Brush Masters and Ink Lovers” is particularly noteworthy, boasting rare masterpieces like Scholar under Pine by Chen Shaomei, Lotus and Mandarin Ducks by Yu Feian, and Eagle by Xu Beihong.
