A new series of China Guardian Seasons Auctions will be unveiled at Beijing Kunlun Hotel from March 11 – 13, 2005 where over 3,000 pieces of fine Chinese art will be auctioned.
This is the first of the new series originally known as China Guardian Weekend Auctions.
Of the 3,000 plus pieces to be auctioned, Chinese paintings and calligraphy account for over 2,000 pieces while the rest are ceramics and other works of art. The work of some of the greatest Chinese painters will be featured, including Lu Yanshao, Wu Changshuo, Wang Duo, Wang Zhen, Huang Zhou, Li Kuchan and Wang Xuetao. A wide array of fine Chinese works of art will also be available, including ceramics, furniture, bronze mirrors, Buddha statues, jade carvings and lacquer.
The preview of the auction will open from 9 am on March 9, 2005.
