A collection from the prestigious artist Qi Baishi will go under the hammer at the 2014 China Guardian Spring Auctions, May 14 - 21.

The dedicated sale brings together almost 30 Qi’s pieces. Most of them are from his students and individual collectors from around the world.

The highlighted item is Landscape, which he made in his 80’s. The painting depicts many animals and plants, common themes in his work, along with calabashes, pumpkins, grasshoppers and butterflies.
