The 38th China Guardian Quarterly Auctions will run on June 21-22 at the Convention Center at the Beijing International Hotel, and will be previewed on June 18-20. The popular and well-supported event will contain a total of over 3,200 pieces of art.
Around 1,600 Chinese painting and calligraphy works will be brought together for the four sales sessions.
The Modern Chinese Painting and Calligraphy ( I ) session will offer a total of 264 pieces, with a focus on Pan Boying’s collections, a famous artist, calligrapher and novelist , along with works by Yu Jigao, Peng Xiancheng and other well-known artists.

The Modern Chinese Painting and Calligraphy session will present 704 collections, reflecting the fruitful results of the collectors and their collection systems with distinctive characteristics.
All the 290 works at the Modern Chinese Painting and Calligraphy (Ⅱ) session includes paintings and calligraphy works by Qi Baishi, Zhang Daqian, Guo Moruo and other established names.

The Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy session will bring together 336 works, most of which were made during the Qing Dynasty.
Landscape by Dong Bangda (1699-1774)
The porcelain and art sales will feature over 1,600 works in the two sessions. In the Porcelain Snuff Bottle and Art Literature session, featured items will include A CELADON-GLAZED FLOWER POT (made during Emperor Qian Long’s reign) and A FAMILLE-ROSE BOWL (made during Emperor Dao Guang’s reign), both of which are fine arts from the imperial kilns during the Qing Dynasty.

Other highlights include A FAMILLE-ROSE SNUFF BOTTLE at the Snuff Bottle section and TWELVE STAMPS AND AN AUTOGRAPH at the Art Literature section.
The Jade and Works of Art sales will bring together a group of precious works, including A WHITE JADE POMANDER and A COPPER CENSER from the mid-Qing Dynasty.
