China Guardian will hold the 2014 autumn auctions from Nov 20-23, with the preview from Nov 11-19 at the convention center of the Beijing International Hotel.
This time China Guardian will present Chinese paintings and calligraphy, porcelain, jade and art works, oil paintings and sculptures, rare books, watches and jewelry, and coins and stamps, more than 7,000 lots in total.
Masterpiece by Huang Zhou, Soldier in Plateau
Grand View: Chinese painting and calligraphy
China Guardian will hold a specific auction for the calligrapher Wang Duo, who was a senior scholar during the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty. Five masterpieces by Pan Tianshou, and the Soldier in Plateau, Little Guard on Plateau, Guardian and Taming Horse by Huang Zhou will be presented.
In addition, six masterpieces by Xu Beihong, a modern Chinese artist, will be presented. Among these collections, the Galloping Horse is worth your attention.
Important private collection
This part consists of five sessions, including the Qian Changzhao couple’s Chinese painting collection, a collection of Chinese paintings and seals by Master Li Li, a collection by the Renmiaoxuan studio, an exquisite selection of paintings and calligraphy on fans and a collection by Kedezhai studio.

Classical Chinese painting and calligraphy
At this part, China Guardian will launch tens of themed auctions, covering private items from Zhou Yingnan, the famous collector in Singapore, He Yun, the owner of the Jueyuzhai studio and Zhang Jingtang.
Among the presented paintings, the Conservation at Night by Yang Changxu and Reading in Furong Pavilion by Wang Xuhao and Cheng Mangsheng are the highlights.
Contemporary Chinese painting
In this section, China Guardian has carefully selected 130 paintings by modern artists, including Wang Ziwu, Nan Haiyan, Lu Fusheng, Pan Gongkai, Li Huayi and Jia Youfu.
An extremely rare and fine glazed cooper-red double-gourd vase from the Qing Dynasty
Porcelain
This auction includes Ming and Qing porcelain, modern porcelain, fine and rare jades, contemporary jade carving, Zisha teapots, bronze Buddhist images and fine and rare wines of the world.
This session features a set of exquisite porcelain from the Qing Dynasty. Among them, an extremely rare and fine glazed cooper-red double-gourd vase is the highlight. It is a calabash-shaped vase with an auspicious dragon pattern.
In addition, about 70 pieces of exquisite cups have been selected from abroad.
The Virtue of Jade: fine and rare jade
In this part, about 90 jade wares will be presented to collectors. A carved white jade beast censor with a cover and a carved white jade dragon vase are worth your attention.

Fine gilt-bronze Buddhist images
In this section, we will offer the Amitayus, a bronze gilt Buddhist figure embedded with jewelry, made in the Qing Dynasty. It is seen as one of the classic Buddhist figures during the 18th century.
