The China Guardian Hong Kong 2017 Spring Auctions was held May 27 - 30, 2015 (Preview: May 27 -28; Auction: May 29 - 30) in the ballroom at the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong.
The auctions featured more than 1,300 pieces in eight sessions, achieving a total of HK$326,397,660 in transactions. The most expensive item was Wu Guanzhong's Village in Guizhou, which sold for HK$23,150,000, which is very encouraging.

China Guardian Hong Kong 2017 Spring Auctions included eight sessions, namely, Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas (I); Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art; Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas (II); Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy; Fine Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art; Ancient Chinese Ceramics from the Tang to the Song dynasties; Classic Furniture of the Ming and the Qing Dynasties; Classic Furniture from the Hung Collection and Virtue & Purity - A Selection of Fine Chinese Jade Carvings.
The two-day auctions attracted a large number of art collectors and amateurs from both China and abroad.

Generally speaking, the atmosphere at the auction site was fierce, especially on bidding for Wu Guanzhong's Village in Guizhou, which sold at HK$23.15 million, three times more than its estimated price.

Nearly 1,000 exquisite art works found a new home. China Guardian Hong Kong Spring Auctions have become a carnival for Chinese art collection and appreciation. Many collectors, amateurs, and art dealers were present at the preview, which was followed by two days of fierce auctions. This year, China Guardian Hong Kong Spring Auctions once again achieved very good results. Many items were well received by the buyers. The good results of the auctions forecast a good trend in the art market in the near future.
