Thanks to the trust and support of new and old friends, we successfully finished our tasks of the autumn auctions after more than six months' suffering.
The bright orange dawn shines through the misty fog and sprays out through the mountains, which is not only a romantic and majestic visual enjoyment given to us by the painting of Autumn Morning, but also a summary of the colorful autumn auctions of China Guardian in 2021.

Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy
After 12 hours of auctioning, the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy ended perfectly with a turnover of 663 million yuan. 11 items were sold for over 10 million yuan and 6 artists' works set latest records in this season.
Calligraphy of the Ming Dynasty, poetry and picture books and letters of literati in the early Qing Dynasty were sold at very high prices in the Day Sale. Landscapes and Poems Attribute to Gao Shiqi by Gong Xian, Fu Shan, Liang Qingbiao Et Al was sold for 69.23 million yuan, becoming the highlight of the evening sale. For the session Collection of Gaohuage, collected by the couple Xie Zhiliu and Chen Peiqiu, four paintings of Song and Yuan dynasties were sold. And three paintings themed flowers breezed past the high estimates.
“That nearly 70 percent of the items were sold out has greatly encouraged the collection market of classical paintings and calligraphy. On the one hand, high-end items with reliable sources have attracted the attention of large funds; on the other hand, items with good quality and large valuation space are easier to sell in recent years. Fortunately, collectors are still enthusiastic, and the new forces appear constantly. The road before us is long and winding, but hope and challenges coexist. All we can do is to make efforts,” said Luan Jingli, General Manager of Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy Department.
